Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of this site. Please read them before relying on anything here — especially the sections on professional advice and accuracy, since PhilHealth-related decisions affect real money and real healthcare access. This is an independent guide, not the official PhilHealth website.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting or using this site, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please stop using the site. We may update these terms from time to time (see Section 15); continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
2. What This Site Is (and Isn’t)
This site is an independent, privately run informational guide about PhilHealth processes — the Member Portal, EPRS, IHCP, registration, contributions, and the YAKAP program. It is created for general information and educational purposes only.
3. Trademark & Screenshot Notice
“PhilHealth” and “Philippine Health Insurance Corporation” are names and marks associated with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, a Philippine government-owned and controlled corporation. We use these names only in their plain, descriptive sense — to refer to the actual government program — never as a claim of ownership, sponsorship, or affiliation. We do not use PhilHealth’s official logo.
Some pages on this site include screenshots of publicly accessible PhilHealth portal screens, used solely to illustrate the steps in our guides — the same way a printed manual might show a screenshot of software it’s teaching you to use. These are included for identification and instructional purposes, in the smallest extent reasonably needed, and are not presented as our own creative work. If PhilHealth or a rights holder objects to a specific image, we will remove or replace it promptly on request — see Section 12.
Everything else on this site — the original written guides, layout, and design — is our own intellectual property, protected by applicable copyright law.
4. Use of Our Content
Our articles, guides, and original graphics are for your personal, non-commercial use.
Personal use
- Read, bookmark, and share a link to any page
- Quote a short excerpt with clear attribution and a link back
Without our permission
- Republish, copy, or scrape our guides onto another site
- Use our content to train, fine-tune, or benchmark AI/ML models
- Misrepresent our content as official PhilHealth material
5. No Professional or Official Advice
Nothing on this site is, or should be treated as, official PhilHealth instruction, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice. PhilHealth policies, forms, rates, and program names (such as YAKAP) can change, and we may not reflect a change immediately. Before making a decision that affects your coverage, contributions, or benefits, confirm the current requirement directly with PhilHealth or a licensed professional where appropriate.
6. Information Accuracy
We research every guide against PhilHealth’s own circulars and independent government-news sources, and we date every page so you can judge freshness. Even so, we cannot guarantee that:
- Every figure or step is correct or complete at the moment you read it
- Content reflects the very latest policy change
- Guidance written for the general case applies to your specific situation
Content is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Use it at your own discretion, and verify anything time-sensitive with an official source before acting on it.
7. User Conduct
By using this site, you agree not to:
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract site content beyond normal browsing
- Use the site for fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful purposes
- Attempt to disrupt or overload the site
We reserve the right to restrict or block access for anyone who violates these rules.
8. Third-Party Links
This site links to philhealth.gov.ph and other external resources throughout our guides. We don’t control, and aren’t responsible for, the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting an external link is at your own discretion and risk; once you leave this site, these Terms no longer apply.
9. Advertising Disclosure
This site may display advertising served through Google AdSense or similar networks to help support the cost of publishing. Ads are served by third parties and are not endorsements by us of any advertised product or service. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site and its owner are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from: your use of, or inability to use, this site; reliance on any content here; errors, omissions, or outdated information; or your use of any third-party link or service referenced here. You use this site entirely at your own risk.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold this site and its owner harmless from any claim, loss, or demand — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms.
12. Copyright Complaints
We respect intellectual property rights, including PhilHealth’s, and expect the same in return. If you believe content on this site — including a screenshot referenced in Section 3 — infringes a right you hold, contact us at the address in Section 16 with:
- The specific page URL and content in question
- A description of your right or interest in that content
- Your contact information
We will review the request in good faith and remove or correct the material promptly if warranted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.
14. General Provisions
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and this site regarding its use.
No waiver
Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
